Philosophy

The purpose of A Seat at the Gym is to help clients find the motivation and tools they need to establish and maintain healthy fitness habits.  Lauren Seat, Certified Personal Trainer, works with her clients to educate and create routines that will become a routine part of their lives.

A Seat at the Gym provides in-home training.  By working out outside of a gym setting in the client’s own home, clients learn exercises that can be performed anywhere with whatever equipment is available.  Because Lauren is a Certified Personal Trainer, clients can be confident they will learn to perform the right exercises correctly.

Exercise is considered the fountain of youth, keeping people strong, healthy, and functional throughout one’s life.  A Seat at the Gym aims to remove the excuses for not incorporating exercise into one’s daily life.  It’s never too early or late to establish an exercise routine.
