Training Options

A Seat at the Gym focuses on creating effective workout routines that can easily be performed from your home, whether your home involves a gym or not.  Routines will be based off of the equipment available to clients.  

Exercises are tailored to the fitness level and goals of the client but can include strength training with bodyweight, dumbbells, an exercise ball, a BOSU, or other props as available.  High intensity interval training, circuit training, and split routines may be used to provide variety.

Individual Sessions

One-on-one private sessions are $60 an hour.  Your trainer will provide you with a routine that includes a warm-up, exercises tailored to individual needs and goals, and a cool-down.

Training is done in the comfort of your own home.  

Pair Sessions

Two clients of a similar fitness level may share a training session for $90 an hour.  Your trainer will provide you with a routine that includes a warm-up, exercises appropriate for both clients, with modifications as necessary, and a cool-down.  Clients may prefer to have private first sessions to assess fitness level before starting pair sessions.  

Training is done in the comfort of your own home.  

Routine Design

Routine design is $180 and includes a six-week customized routine, a session to teach the exercises, and support for questions or concerns during the six weeks.

Routine design is appropriate for individuals who already exercise regularly, but are in need of fresh workout ideas.  A fitness assessment must be performed first to determine fitness level, then your trainer will provide you with a six-week training routine.  The routine will include individualized exercises and a day-by-day fitness plan for six-weeks.  Warm-ups and cool-downs will be included for each workout.
